Starting Simple

So, for my first post I think it’s fitting to start with one of my first theories. Moving air.

Wind is a common occurrence and no one ever pays much attention, but when you stop and take notice of the details patterns start to emerge.

Is it windy now? Look and see. How can you tell? Is there a visual sign? Without feeling the wind can you tell that it’s blowing? Is there something that happens when it’s always windy?

Yes. The trees always sway when it’s windy. Or to put it another way, it’s always windy when the trees sway.

Think about it. Take your time. Take all the time you need. This basic observation sparked a revolutionary thought that undermines the core of meteorology. Trees make the wind!

The evidence is there, right in front of you. Every time the wind is blowing the trees are swaying. This, combined with the butterfly effect can explain all weather patterns. If a butterfly can cause a hurricane half way around the world imagine what a forest can do!

This, as all good thoughts do, leads to more questions but I will go into these further another time. until then, keep connecting the dots.
